Seidor, the multinational consultancy specialising in services and solutions, has announced the commencement of operations in the Israeli market through a joint venture with the local firm MalamTeam. By doing so, the company is boosting its presence in a strategic market that has positioned itself as a key hub of technological innovation.
The joint firm, in which each partner company holds a 50% stake, will be called Seidor Malam and it will base its value proposition on the provision of services related to cloud solutions developed by the German multinational SAP; with a specific focus on customer experience solutions (e-commerce and marketing) and the ERP cloud suite for SMEs, ByDesign. The business plan that has been finalised estimates that Seidor Malam will have achieved a turnover of approximately €5 million with a team of 50 staff by the year 2020.
“The launch of Seidor Malam allows us to configure a highly attractive value proposition for the market that is beneficial for both companies. Seidor brings to this initiative its international capacity, know-how and extensive portfolio of SAP cloud solutions, while MalamTeam will contribute its consolidated knowledge and positioning in the Israeli market”, explains Alejandro Daniel, one of Seidor's Assistant General Managers. Furthermore, Eduard Farga, likewise an Assistant General Manager with Seidor, adds: “The presence in the Israeli market will be an important boost for Seidor's strategic commitment to innovation, as it will enable us to come into contact with one of the largest technological start-up ecosystems”.
Seidor has announced that it will drive the connection and knowledge transfer of its competence centres in SAP cloud solutions towards Seidor Malam, with the aim of supporting the development of the new company. The consultancy currently has diverse specialised centres in Barcelona, Valencia and Lima from which it provides services to Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
MalamTeam, Seidor's partner for the foothold in the Israeli market, is a company that was founded in 1972 and is currently listed on the Tel Aviv stock exchange. With a turnover of more than €500 million in 2017 and a workforce of over 3,400 professionals, the company has a long track record as a SAP partner and an large customer base in diverse sectors.
